The continuation of this Epic Fantasy finds the Gates to the Shimmering Forest open for the first time in four hundred years. The Tinkers and Wind Walkers have paid the price to end the Exile. As they begin to explore the wonders of the lost homeland they find dangers they were not expecting. The descendants of the Tinkers and Wind Walkers that did not heed the exile and leave centuries ago, have been forever enslaved by the Mark and the Wizards they serve. A star tattoo on their forehead contains the magic that binds them. When Nathan, the Tinker, finds his presence is enough to break the Covenant Spell he finds himself hunted by the Wizards that govern the land. In the giant Tinker coach Nathan and his companion Gunter carry a pink dragon egg that is going to hatch at the next full moon. Gunter has been named the custodian of the egg by a gold dragon that fired the egg to bring it out of its dormancy. It will be a female and the first Lunar Dragon in a thousand years. Dragons are almost extinct after the Wizards declared war on them and stole many dormant eggs. The dragons may have the last word.
