I present to you a melting pot of muted African American Women's voices and the traumatic events they experience during an annual ritual held every summer.1920's, the era for filthy rich southern white men, to purge their thirst for blood. Sinking into their demons, slaughtering African American women through ravenous swamp woods. Jessie, 21 years old, just moved to Louisiana and hasn't heard the rumors of this hunt till she opens her eyes and finds herself bound at the wrists, thrown into this predator and prey chase. She knows she has to survive for her sibling's sake and can not let anyone or anything get in her way. Forcing her to make tough decisions, one would never dream of encountering. If she makes it out alive she knows she can no longer live a normal life in Louisiana. So where can she go next? Will it be safer? Or is it more dangerous than she thought?
