Michael Ferketic grew up in Newport Beach, California, and graduated from the University of California, Irvine, where he studied biology. After running a successful private tutoring company specializing in math and science, he transitioned to the solar industry in 2013, where he continues to work today.

For decades, Michael has been deeply passionate about unraveling the mysteries of free will. Unsatisfied with contemporary discussions that often lead to circular reasoning and unresolved debates, he embarked on a personal journey to crack the "free will nut." This pursuit led him to develop a novel framework and language to explain how free will operates, focusing on its connection to attention and focus.

In his book, The Definition of Free Will & A Model of Attention, which is an expanded and much improved version of a 2004 book he released, Michael introduces a groundbreaking model that redefines free will and explores the role of attention in shaping human autonomy. His work bridges philosophy, cognitive science, and personal development, offering readers a fresh perspective on one of humanity's oldest questions.

Emma Wells, born in East Lancashire, England, is a 49-year-old author who has emerged as a voice for the often overlooked and silent sufferers in society. From a tender age, Emma harboured a passion for writing and always envisioned herself penning down stories that would captivate hearts. Little did she know that her journey would lead her to tackle a profoundly controversial topic.

In the wake of publishing her book, "Unseen Victims," Emma recognised the potential to extend her impact beyond the pages of her work. Motivated by a deep sense of empathy and a commitment to making a difference, she embarked on a project aimed at providing support to the countless individuals navigating the intricate web of the UK Criminal Justice System while standing beside their loved ones.

With a wealth of experience accumulated over eight years, Emma has lived through and learned from the challenges and tribulations faced by those supporting individuals entangled in the legal system. Her unique perspective is rooted in the real, often harrowing, experiences of people coping with the repercussions of their loved ones' encounters with the law.

Emma's work sheds light on a reality that many are unfamiliar with – the daily struggles, stigma, and emotional toll experienced by those thrust into the role of supporting someone through the labyrinthine journey of the criminal justice system. Her dedication to raising awareness stems from the belief that these circumstances can befall anyone, at any time, dispelling the myth that such challenges are exclusive to a particular demographic.

In "Unseen Victims," Emma Wells not only captures the essence of these untold stories but also lays the foundation for a broader movement of support and understanding. Through her book and subsequent projects, she aims to give a voice to the voiceless and shine a spotlight on the unseen victims, fostering a compassionate community that recognises the humanity behind the headlines.

Emma's journey from aspiring writer to advocate for those navigating the complexities of the criminal justice system exemplifies the power of storytelling as a catalyst for social change. Her work stands as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the potential for empathy to bridge gaps in understanding within society
