I write African fiction, horror, African folklore and mysticism, and a few children's picture books. I host  free work and a satirical blog on my website, delesikuade dotcom. My literary influences are an eclectic mix of literary fiction, fantasy, science fiction, crime, and horror. I grew up in Nigeria, where I listened to Yoruba folk tales at my father's knee, and where my friends and I would disappear indoors for safety when the rumours spread that the gbomogbomo (child kidnappers) were in town.

As a discovery writer who never planned a book in his life, I like to mix my influences up in an African setting and see what comes out.
