Michael E Wills is a writer of historical fiction books for both adults and children. Several of his books have won awards.

After a career in education, in 2008, he retired as the principal of a school teaching English to adults and children from all over the world. He lives with his wife on the edge of the Wiltshire countryside in southern England, not far from Stonehenge.

While much of his time of his time is spent writing and the ever so important activity for historical novelists – research, he has a hobby interest in electronics, sailing and carpentry.
