Rising from poverty and a broken home as a child, she went on to become a Registered Nurse. While caring for patients for over twenty years in the medical field, she continually found her writing muse begging for attention. Finding herself at a crossroads, she decided to listen to the muse and let the creativity flow.... producing her first book in only a week. She has people in her life that she cares deeply and will always go the extra mile for if lucky enough to reach her inner circle. When not writing or caring for patients, Amaterina can often be found reading, taking pictures of anything that piques her interest, and spending time with loved ones. She is always asking questions about things - constantly trying to learn new information and ideas. Animals have been a big part of her life as well, with many strays or injured being taken in and cared for.
